Core Values

These are the main ideas that shape the teaching, events, and ministry at The Fountains Fellowship. We believe that these five biblical beliefs will guide us as we connect to Jesus and each other to advance the Gospel.

FOUND PEOPLE FIND PEOPLE

MATTHEW 28:19-20
When you begin a relationship with God, He invites you not only to spend eternity in heaven, but also to be part of His purpose. Just as God used someone to help find you when you were apart from Him, He invites you to help find others. This means going into your world, building relationships, sharing your story, and inviting people to begin a relationship with Christ as well.

YOU CAN’T DO LIFE ALONE

HEBREWS 10:24-25
God did not call you to walk through life alone. He is a relational God and He encourages us to do life alongside other believers. This allows us to connect in relationship beyond weekend services, protect one another through accountability and encouragement, and grow together by talking and living out the truth of God’s word.

SAVED PEOPLE SERVE PEOPLE

MARK 10:43-45
Jesus accomplished His purpose by actively serving God and serving other people. As we follow Christ, our heart should become more like His heart as we learn to place other people’s needs above our own. Every believer is uniquely gifted to make a difference in the lives of others. By serving others, we are living out the heart of “Loving God and Loving Others”.

YOU CAN’T OUT GIVE GOD

JOHN 3:16, JAMES 1:17
God is a generous God that provides for our needs. As we honor God with our time, talents, and treasure, we recognize and proclaim His goodness. As we continue to give of ourselves with the proper heart, He will continue to supply us with the means to show generosity to others.

GROWING PEOPLE CHANGE

2 CORINTHIANS 5:17

Wherever you are in life, whatever is going on, you will always have a Next Step. By having this mindset of always moving forward you will continue to grow in your relationship with Christ. Every step we take helps us become more like Christ. God is after our hearts, not our behavior.
